Pastor Michael Smith
Pastor Michael Smith is a South Jersey native who has served in ministry for over 13 years. He and his wife, Albree, have three young children. Michael served most recently as the Lead Pastor at Trinity UMC in Mullica Hill. Prior to this, he served as Superintendent of Congregational and Community Vitality in the Mountain Sky Conference. He has previously served as senior pastor of Clinton UMC (Clinton, NJ), Tabernacle UMC (Erma, NJ) and as associate pastor of Saint Peter’s UMC (Ocean City, NJ). Michael uses creativity and innovation to increase vitality in every church he serves. He loves spending time with his family, music, movies, and the Philadelphia Eagles.
Mandy Cavanaugh
Administrative Assistant
Mandy is joining us with a strong background in administrative work and customer service. She runs the church office with duties that include website maintenance, bulletins, slideshows, and other tasks. Originally from Asheville, NC, where she was baptized and confirmed at Asbury United Methodist Church, Mandy brings a strong sense of community. Now residing in Mount Laurel, she enjoys cheering on her son, Gabriel, a student at Holy Cross Preparatory Academy, and attending Phillies games during the summer months.
