Pastor Biography

Pastor Sam was born and raised in the New York City area. He comes from a family of pastors and thought he was going into medicine or architecture, but he felt God begin to tug at his heart to be in pastoral ministry, starting with a gracious promise of blessing while he was on a mission trip in Mexico. He received his M.Div from Drew Theological School and D.Min at Wesley Theological Seminary. He has served churches in New York, Maryland and most recently in Arcola Covenant Community in northern New Jersey. Pastor Sam has a heart for preaching and teaching, the local church and missions, and loves to see disciples of Jesus making disciples of Jesus. He and his wife Grace are blessed with two wonderful children. When not involved in ministry, one of the things he likes to do is spend time working with his hands. He’s been told he has a sweet tooth.
