1. What a friend we have in Jesus, all our sins and griefs to bear!
What a privilege to carry everything to God in prayer!
O what peace we often forfeit, O what needless pain we bear,
All because we do not carry everything to God in prayer.
2. Have we trials and temptations? Is there trouble anywhere?
We should never be discouraged; take it to the Lord in prayer.
Can we find a friend so faithful who will all our sorrows share?
Jesus knows our every weakness, take it to the Lord in prayer.

Precious Savior, still our refuge; take it to the Lord in prayer.

Remembering Irene
Irene Monahan nee Miloshevsky died peacefully at home surrounded by her family. She is survived by her six daughters Stella, Sandra, Sharon, Sunday, Shelly, and Stacey. Six girls, six S’s and six letters. We never got the full story on this plan. She was Rene to sixteen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. She was the oldest daughter of fourteen children of Nellie and James Miloshevsky.
Irene is also survived by her best friend Edna Cole. Irene and Edna loved to play cards and get lost while driving.
Irene worked at the U.S. Postal Service for many years. She owned a thrift store, “Our Sister’s Closet,” for a few years and it was one of her proudest accomplishments. Irene loved the Lord and prayed for so many people every day, especially her six girls. She loved them each uniquely but equally. She was giving and always helped anyone who needed anything.
Irene lived a great life and was one of the most forgiving people, which she tried to share with everyone. She would always remind us how important forgiveness is.
She suffered from anxiety and loneliness, which is hard for people to understand. The only way she managed these sometimes debilitating feelings was by her faith! It never wavered. She never lost hope and always gave of herself.
One of her last selfless acts was donating her body to science, giving of her body to help someone learn something. She knew her body was just a vessel on this earth and she had everlasting life with her Lord and Savior.
