Meet Our Staff

Christopher L. Miller
Pastor Chris is our Senior Pastor and joined our staff on the first of July 2005. He received his
Master's of Divinity from Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Philadelphia, PA. He is a
gifted preacher and teacher. Pastor Chris has been a Navy Chaplain serving with the United
States Marines in a reserve capacity and has just transferred to the New Jersey Air National
Guard as the Wing Chaplain for the 108th Air Refueling Wing. Pastor Chris is passionate about
prayer, small group ministries and social justice. His preaching style and love of contemporary
worship fit in well with First United Methodist Church's lively and casual worship. We hope that
Pastor Chris will be a long-term addition to our church.

Katie Winner
Katie, a long time member of our church, joined our staff as Administrative Assistant in early
2007. Katie brings with her education and experience in office administration. She is also very
active in worship and helps with leading the Praise Team along with many other gifted musicians
and singers. She is a welcomed member to the leadership team at First UMC, Delran.

Phil Gorog (Youth Pastor)
Pastor Phil has been a member of our church throughout his childhood and has lead the Youth
Group Ministry of our church each summer for the past few years. After graduating from Illinois
Wesleyan in 2007, Phil applied to be our part-time Youth Pastor. His experience and gifted
work with the youth in the past, lead the Staff Parish Relations Committee to hire him as part of
our staff. We look forward to Phil's contributions to the leadership team at First UMC, Delran.
